Mortgage Loan Processor

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented mortgage loan processor for our dynamic lending team. The ideal candidate will have years of mortgage processing experience, a can-do attitude, and a proven track record of providing solutions in the mortgage lending industry. $50,000 - $60.000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file
• Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval
• Put together loan packages and submit to lender underwriting for approval or denial
• Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files
• Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application

Qualifications:

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required
• Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail
• At least 2 years of loan processing experience required
• High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
