We have 3 locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area and one in Minnesota. We have added 3 of these facilities in the last 5 years and looking to expand again. We have a long history in the Kansas City area and are always looking for ways to continue to make us the leader in the Trailer Repair Industry.

UTSKC is looking for a trailer mechanic who wants a rewarding career in the transportation industry in the Kansas City area. We are currently seeking Trailer Technicians with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a fleet shop or Dealership. We have several openings for techs of different skill levels. Multiple Shifts are available.

Dot/ Pm Techs will be responsible for:
Quality completed repairs on Air Brakes, ABS, Cam Bushings, Roll-up doors, Swing doors, Suspension Alignments, Shocks, Dolly Legs, and Bracing, Lights and Electrical wiring, etc.

Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections.
  • Perform air brake and wheel-end repairs.
  • Perform floor, roof, door, and side panel repairs.
  • Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs.
  • Perform electrical and air diagnostics and repairs.
