Room Service Server, Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a Room Service Server to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Room Service Server, you will deliver food and beverage items to guests and be an important part of the guest experience to visitors at the property.

• Answer room service phones and take orders from guests while providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately enters orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks.
• Prepare foodservice orders and deliver to guests at their room, spa, or pool in a timely manner.
• Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Connect with guests after their order has been delivered to ensure the meal and beverage met their satisfaction.
• Monitor and clear the room hallway for used dishes.
• Performs opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned.
• Ensures all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly.

• At least 1 year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing preferred.
• Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred.
• Valid California Drivers License required.
  Must obtain California Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 lbs.
