Kelly Engineering has a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company in Chattanooga, TN that manufacturers heavy equipment. This company is looking for an electrical engineer to lead and manage projects for a growing company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but not limited to)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs engineering calculations as required during design cycle
• Organizes the testing and validation of new designs and changes to existing designs
• Communicates with Manufacturing on production issues
• Works with Purchasing Department and suppliers on new or existing components
• Assists customers, via telephone or on site, to resolve function and/or application issues
• Participates in customer meetings and travels to customer job sites and offices to promote good customer relations and assists customers in resolving function and/or application issues when requested
• Works with the Service Department to resolve field and warranty issues
• Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to develop layout drawings
• and, if required, detailed fabrication drawings for new designs and changes to existing designs
• Knowledgeable of all company products and the products of our direct competitors

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering OR electronic technical degree
• Experience with Plus 1 Guide, CoDeSys, C++, Telematics, hydraulic circuits, 12V/24V DC electric circuits and/or control systems for off-road construction equipment
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experience in the design and manufacture of off-road construction equipment
