What is Job Corps? With over 120 campuses across the United States, Job Corps provides free career training and education. Students get the experience they need to begin a career or apprenticeship, or advance to higher education. Our vocational trades include Drone Pilot, Overhead Line Electrical, SMART Meter, Auto Body and Tech, Cement Mason, Tile Setting and Medical Trades.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleanliness of the Administration Building, surrounding grounds and other areas as assigned.
- Oversees center support students as assigned.
- Painting and freshen up the Center.
- Responsible for cleaning floors with a machine and will have to come in early to strip and wax floors. Must be willing to use a buffer.
- Performs routine maintenance as a preventive measure on such systems as electrical, heating, air condition, etc.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work in a team based environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years related work experience
- Valid NYS Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
