Layout Technician
Job Description
ASYST Technologies, LLC has an opening for a Layout Technician at our state-of-the-art injection molding and automation facility located in Kenosha, WI, just minutes off of I-94.
What does a day in the life of a Layout Technician look like?
- Make an Impact: Layout Technicians are crucial in supporting ASYST in ensuring quality to our valued customers. You will operate all quality department measuring equipment including CMM, Vision System, Optical Comparator, and all types of hand tools. You will be responsible for layout inspections as required and gage calibration system and R&R studies.
- Teamwork: As a Layout Technician, you will be responsible for supporting PPAP submissions as well as lend technical assistance to departments such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Shipping/Receiving and Maintenance. In addition, interacting with customers and communicating quality problems along with PPAP issues to supplies. Once production is finished, you will handle receiving and final inspection audits.

Our ideal candidate will check most of these boxes:
- Related associates degree or higher
- CMM Lab Technician Certification
- 2 years related experience
- Ability to program CMM
- Knowledge of the Production Parts Approval process for the automotive industry
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of ASME Y 14.5M Geometric
- Dimension & Tolerancing
- SPC knowledge and statistical analysis tools
- Knowledge of calibration methods and system
- General computer skills including word & excel
- Excellent communication skills

1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 6am - 2pm
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday from 2pm - 10pm + 10% shift premium
