Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and drive P&L performance for the Business Lines the role supports to include actual, forecast, and budgeting financials
• Manage and develop direct reports
• Manage the development of EACs; identify financial deviations; monitor financial reporting; verify funding documents and status
• Ensure Estimates to Complete are accurate and representative of operational plan
• Drive cashflow performance for the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring, and forecasting
• Ensure timely submission of all contractually required reports
• Accurate and timely production of all financial information
• Develop and produce monthly management reports for business unit and program management
• Development of executive level presentations on business results, performance analysis, financial models, Forecasts and Budgets etc.
• Assess and report on business level risks and opportunities
• Work with Operations to put measures in place to improve project gross margin and cash flows
• Support annual budgeting and planning exercises
• Petty cash, consolidation of cash ledgers and cash requests (expense reports)
• Developing creative solutions to business processes and procedures to meet the needs of the enterprise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or business-related fields
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
• MBA, graduate degree or CPA in lieu of years of experience
• Experience in financial operations
• Understanding of federal cost accounting and compliance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with senior & executive management
