Marketing Project and Event Manager - Events, Marketing, Ed-Tech

What You Will Be Doing

BX is looking for a project and events manager to join the fast-paced marketing team to manage and scale our campaigns and initiatives. The Marketing Project. Manager will also work closely to coordinate and inform cross-functional teams on all marketing projects. Company events, conferences/tradeshows, awards and asset management are also the responsibility of this role to shepherd from inception to successful completion.

You're in the front seat of a dynamic, fast-moving and remote team experience& and you're reading the map. An ability to see the big picture and leverage strong problem-solving and critical thinking to keep projects on track is key .Strong organizational skills are leveraged daily as you know where every project is in the process and actively mitigate risks to successful completion. You proactively look for and implement ways to streamline processes, organize assets, and keep the team and organization informed and humming. You're also viewed as the go-to person around the org for marketing and communications resources.

Specific Accountabilities Include
  • Manage multiple projects, processes, and feedback loops across the organization to facilitate internal customer collaboration and desired results.
  • Create consolidated dashboards and manage coordination of analytics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and channels.
  • Manage BX's presence at industry conferences, tradeshows, and events including proactively maintaining and communicating all deadlines and requirements for all aspects of potential participation from presenting, sponsorship, exhibiting and/or attending.
  • Ensure marketing deliverables meet objectives, are on time, in budget and within quality.
  • Optimize and audit existing systems and processes and with consideration for continued growth across the organization, proactively recommend methods to evolve and strengthen operating processes and tools.
  • Proactively manage cross-organizational interdependencies and risks with strong mitigation strategies developing an escalation process as necessary
What You Need for this Position

Position Requirements

At least 3-5 years of communications experience in business environment(s). Ability to

thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic virtual work environment is preferred. Proven

Expertise To Balance Strategic Thinking With Hands-on Execution. Additionally
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Commercial sector experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Salesforce reporting and

campaign management
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot
  • Expertise in google suite tools
  • Ability to adapt to change with resilience and creativity
  • Strong eye for detail with analytical aptitude
  • Expertise in project management processes and tools
  • Enthusiastic about applying a systems thinking approach to how work get accomplished
  • Excellent judgement and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Superior written, oral, and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interface and influence colleagues
  • Ability to build credibility and trust through demonstrated ethical behaviors and standards, given some information may be confidential and sensitive
  • Travel to support BXs presence at conferences and events
