Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Works with the project manager and owner’s representatives to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and local jurisdiction codes.
- Communicates site conflicts, schedule and quality issues effectively to the project manager.
- Supports project manager in the negotiation of claims and change orders.
- Submits RFIs to project manager
- Actively and continually monitors project equipment needs, utilization and maintenance requirements.
- Maintains daily housekeeping
- Maintains open communication between all subcontractors to ensure all required labor, materials, equipment, and inspections support project activities and project schedule.
- Understands all subcontractors’ scopes; assures subcontractors maintain schedules and quality standards and meet contract requirements.
- Ensures that project safety protocols are implemented and followed by all employees and subcontractors
- Participates in jobsite safety assessments and assists in performing incident or accident investigations and follow-ups
- Submits accurate daily job reports to the office reporting job progress, subcontractors on site, safety concerns, and employee time
- Performs project close-out and ensures punch list is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience leading commercial construction projects
- Fuel/Petroleum experience preferred
- Willingness to travel
- OSHA 30
- Strong communication skills
