Position Summary

This role is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Their primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring they are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Other key responsibilities may include contributing to a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience.

• Experience in implementing technology solutions in financial industry.

• 5 or more years experience leading development team on core .NET platforms.

• 5 or more years experience with web based distributed applications and strong understanding of SDLC.

• Experience leading design sessions to document potential solutions, including the cost/benefit of each option.

• Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction and oversight to lead a project as technology solutions are delivered.

• Track record of collaborating closely with scrum masters, architects, product owners and developers.

• Proven success in working in agile environment within a Software Engineering or Delivery role.

• Experience in managing teams, performance evaluations, and team building.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Trading Systems Kafka messaging and Cockroach DB.
