Accountant

We are adding an Accountant to our Corporate Accounting team in Muscatine, IA!

What you'll do:

• Drive accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in the month-end close process
• Perform month-end activities including variance analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Work closely with business partners to identify and implement process improvements
• Identify and support projects focused on centralization, simplification, standardization, and automation amongst accounting treatment across the organization
• Ensure compliance with established controls
• Identify and implement control refinements and ensure accurate documentation
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Support the monthly consolidation processes

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of related work experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written correspondence
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with changing priorities and meet deadlines with quality output
• Advanced technology skills (Oracle, MS Excel, BI)
