Warehouse Associate | $1,500 Sign-on Bonus

D&M Industries was founded in 1982 and is a 100% employee-owned company in Moorhead, MN, Belleville, and Oregon, Wisconsin. We are a one-stop supplier concentrated on commercial and residential renovations and new construction products serving customers nationwide. Our products include interior and exterior doors and frames, millwork, molding, stair parts, windows, and finishing hardware.
Compensation
- Starting at $17.00 hour/DOE.
- 2nd Shift does receive a half-hour paid lunch break, and a $2.00 shift differential
Schedule
- 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
- 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday, 1:15 pm - 11:30 pm
- Overtime is available occasionally on Saturday and Sunday on a voluntary basis
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, or stack material
- Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move product around the warehouse
- Manually load or unload materials
- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets to secure material or products for transport to designated areas
- Pack and unpack items in the warehouses storing items in an orderly and accessible manner
- Receive and count stock items, and record data using a scanner or computer
- Verify inventory count of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
- Issue or distribute products to customers based on information listed on work ticket
- Prepare and maintain records of inventories, shortages, and shipments of goods
Qualifications
Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of labeling, or barcode scanners, preferred but not required
Requirements
- 1 year of forklift experience, and using a pallet jack and hand trucks
- Knowledge of how to use a computer and database to record data
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
Physical Demands
- Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or, 50 pounds frequently and/or up-to 20 pounds constantly to move objects by carrying, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
