Adecco is currently recruiting for 3 rd shift Assembly associates for a temp to hire opportunity in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and packaging products as well as using assembly machinery and hand tools according to work orders and quality procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setup, operate and changeover assembly and packaging equipment as required

Understand and follow all Safety related procedures and equipment

Read and understand assembly and quality instructions as per work order, perform quality checks

Record scrap daily / weekly and maintain records, report defects to lead hand or Manager

Ensure efficiency targets are met, move product to next stage of the assembly process

Communicate status of jobs with Manager and other team members including team members on other shifts to ensure smooth transitions

Assist maintenance team with special projects or any other tasks which may be assigned by manager from time to time

Record productivity numbers accurately

REQUIREMENTS:

HSD or GED required

Experience in production or Manufacturing environment and experience with use of tools and equipment preferred

High attention to detail

Must have good math and analytical skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with good eye, hand, and foot coordination

Dependable and a team player with the ability to work 40 hours, arrive on time and stay for entire shift

Able to work independently and efficiently to meet goals and quotas

Proficient with the use of computers

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
