STAFF ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY
Anna Parson at Robert Half is working with a rapidly growing Manufacturing client in Woodbury seeking a bright Staff Accountant to join their accounting team.
As the Staff Accountant you will:
* Assist with the month end close
* Handle AP processing
* Prepare Client billing and handle full cycle AR
* Perform Account reconciliations and prepare journal entries and general ledger analysis
* Leverage your strong Excel skills to prepare financial analyses
* Help to create standard operating procedures
* Utilize your QuickBooks experience to prepare financial reporting and detailed analyses

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Account analysis experience
- Account reconciliation experience highly desired
- Solid understanding of month end closings
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
- High attention to detail
- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
- Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Strong organization skills
- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
- Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
