A media company in the Valley is looking for a Director of Accounting to join their team. Reporting to the Controller, the Director of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing global consolidations, technical guidance, and leading the annual audit. What do you need for this Director of Accounting role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Supervisory experience
• Public accounting experience would be helpful
• CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Director of Accounting role?

• Lead global consolidations for multiple international entities
• Provide accounting guidance to all regions
• Technical accounting, research, and guidance
• Assist the company with pre-IPO preparation
• Prepare financial statements in IFRS
• Oversee month-end close and maintenance of the general ledger
