Job Description

Established and fast-growing financial planning and wealth management firm in Cypress, Texas is seeking a strong team member for the position of in-office Client Service Associate with unique opportunity.

This position requires excellent proactive customer service and problem-solving skills to confidently provide information and service to clients in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in client meeting preparation and follow-up including assembling requisite paperwork, report generation, appointment scheduling and post-meeting service and documentation
  • Manage client needs regarding processing, service, and problem resolution in a timely and accurate manner while ensuring documentation and record keeping adhering to compliance standards
  • Assist in entry of financial planning data.
  • Process, submit, and service all account paperwork/requests through to completion utilizing paperless procedures (including eSignature) where available
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated performance reporting as needed.
  • Maintain CRM database with ability to create and maintain efficient workflows.
  • Plan client events
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Advisors.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

  • Advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) are essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work proactively and independently while managing multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry allowing for a good understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts
  • Previous experience in the independent financial services culture preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

  • Series 6 or 7 and 65/66 preferred (or ability to obtain quickly)

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Potential for attractive quarterly bonuses

  • Company paid group life and disability insurance. No Health Insurance currently.
