An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

• Delivers or "runs" food to tables once a food order has been prepared by the cooks. - Delivers food to restaurant patrons. - Assists with many other duties when other members of the staff are busy. - Knows what each dish is supposed to look like so nothing is missed from the dish. - Ensures plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timely manner. - Assists other restaurant staff members with duties such as clearing and cleaning tables, filling water glasses and refilling drinks. - Helps maintain the cleanliness in the kitchen and customer areas and returns plates to the kitchen.

• Has to be efficient, detail-oriented and courteous. - Able to pay attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant and has a team player attitude. - Needs to be able to work well with others and help out with other responsibilities as needed. - Must be at least 21 years of age.
