Order Builder
Shift- 5 pm to finish Sun-Thursday- schedule is subject to change with business needs - candidates must be willing to work weekends if requested
pallet jack and or forklift exp needed
Candidates must understand this is a physical position, lots of standing on your feet, moving all the time, very fasted paced. Candidates have to be willing to work hard for 8-12 hours a day. There has been a lot of turn over on this position because candidates are NOT being told what the position really is about. Please make sure your candidates understand the requirements
All workers will be subjected to Temperature Monitoring prior to entering the facility. Face Covering Required at all times while at facility. Attire- Non-Logo Tee Shirt Red, Blk, or Grey- Non Log Baseball cap if applicable Proper safety footwear required (steel toe, puncture resistant sole, and provide above the ankle protection) as specifically stated below: Foot Protection
• Provide ANSI Z41-compliant or local country-equivalent protective footwear.
• client Safety Shoe Specification: Puncture Resistant (Kevlar bottom); Class 75 protective toe; Slip-resistant soles that meet Mark II LS-oily/wet test at .35/higher and a minimum of 6” inches or higher.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks
• Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment
• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards
• Responsible for meeting productivity requirements
• Stage completed pallets in designated area Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent.
• Min 6 months of general work experience
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
• Prior warehouse experience preferred
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs.) above shoulder height without assistance
• Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
