Job Summary Special Access Programs (SAP) Enterprise has an opening for a Security Manager supporting AFNWC . The selected individual will be working in a Security Manager role, leading a team of security professionals, and addressing compliance of Special Access Programs (SAP) to include Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SECRET. As a Security Manger, you will primarily interface with Aerospace Program Management and government agencies/customers regarding program security matters and requirements. Responsible for providing security support ensuring classified information is properly safeguarded and will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives. Work Model Onsite - The position will be located at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) about 30 minutes north of Salt Lake City. What You Will Be Doing * Responsible for ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals and ICD series manuals and other federal security directives as required
* Primary POC for physical security, personnel security, and information security, COMSEC, IA
* Maintains situational awareness of all security functions and issues
* Provides guidance, direction, coordination, and oversight on security matters
* Advises staff in the interpretation of security guidelines and the development of plans and procedures to meet customer security requirements
* Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures; recommends modifications to operating policies
* Advises Program staff in the interpretation of security guidelines and the development of plans and procedures to meet customer security requirements
* Research current security related information; maintains in-depth knowledge of applicable government security directives; interprets applicable security requirements and communicates to supported personnel
* Interface with Information Assurance personnel and supporting staff on security matters
* Work with support departments to ensure compliance with contract/subcontract security requirements
* Coordinate the Development and implementation of an effective Security and Education Training Awareness (SETA) program
* Responsible for COMSEC, Insider Threat Program, and Pre-publication reviews
* Conduct annual self-inspections, document the self-inspections, and submit to the appropriate CSAs to include the hosting of periodic security reviews
* Oversees the adherences of classified storage, annual classified inventory, classified media control, and the visitor control program within the secure areas
* Responsible for the reporting of adverse information to the appropriate CSAs
* Manages investigations of known or suspected security violations and advises upper management concerning appropriate corrective actions
* Maintains and updates Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and other facility documentation as required
* Assists with the implementation, and maintenance of Fire Life Safety, emergency preparedness, and Environmental Health Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation
* Respond to emergencies that require either an evacuation, shelter-in-place order, or lock down
* Conduct evaluations including but not limited to indoor air quality and ergonomics What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements: * Typically, 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma * Previous management experience
* Experience with security best practices, standards, and methodologies
* Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and projects
* Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
* Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
* Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers and corporate staff and must work well in a team environment
* Ability to maintain security as well as confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
* Ability to respond after-hours to security alarms and/or emergencies
* Ability to represent the corporation with the US government, DoD, and other governmental agencies
* Current TS/SSBI is required
* Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals and ICD series manuals How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: * Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college
* TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph
