Job Description

DMS International is seeking an experienced Multimedia Specialist (MMS) to design and create multimedia and graphics content for our client learning programs.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate audio, video, graphics, and textual data to create highly advanced presentations
  • Produce graphics, charts, infographics, videos, and various multimedia for eLearning courses and standalone training videos
  • Create narrative scripts, rough sketches and storyboards for eLearning and multimedia
  • Produce graphics for product illustrations, logos, and other items
  • Combine art and technology to communicate ideas
  • Create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing
  • Communicate with FPS training Division employees or stakeholders to ensure that designs accurately reflect the project objectives
  • Incorporate recommended changes into a final design
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Creating e-learning and multimedia with 508-compliance in mind
  • Set up lighting for photo or video recording
  • Utilize Motion and still cameras to create multimedia products
  • Create eLearning and SCORM compliant courses utilizing Adobe Captivate given lesson plans or provided assistance by Instructional System Designers
  • Travel to on location video shoots
  • Produce Live video Broadcasts with the assistance of government personnel
  • Assist Government Employees and other contractors in development and use of virtual reality projects and software
  • Assist in creating visually appealing and educationally effective power point slides

Experience & Skills Required

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM/AICC compliance
  • Demonstrated experience, within the last four years, on the below software programs and skills used to prepare and deliver training materials:
    • Assisting government employees with creating instructional design, eLearning design and multimedia design: 2 years (Required)
    • Adobe Premiere Pro: 1 year (Required)
    • Adobe Captivate: 1 year (Required)
    • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook): 2 years (Required)

Desired Experience:

    • Utilizing and administrating a Learning Management Systems (LMS): 1 year (Desired)
    • Graphic Design: 1 year (Desired)
    • Adobe After Effects: 1 year (Desired)
    • Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Desired)
    • Adobe Connect: 1 year (Desired)
    • Adobe Sound booth, Audition or similar audio program: 1 year (Desired)
    • Obtain or possesses an FAA remote pilot certificate (Desired)
