FLEET MANAGER - LTP Home Services Group

This position is responsible for the full strategic planning and management of LTP and affiliate companies fleets to include: full P&L management, vehicle and equipment acquisition planning; titling, registration and insurance management; vendor management, up-fitting and wrapping; fuel, maintenance and toll management; regulatory and safety compliance, remarketing and operational excellence working with key stakeholders. With over 500 trucks across the mid-Atlantic region LTP has grown to be one of the region's largest Plumbing and HVAC service provider and this role is critical in sustaining growth objectives and maintaining a safe and healthy fleet.


Must have strong fleet experience 500 - 1000 vehicles!

With over 700 trucks across the mid-Atlantic region LTP Home Services has grown to be one of the region's largest Plumbing and HVAC service provider and this role is critical in sustaining growth objectives and maintaining a safe and healthy fleet.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


Plan and prepare annual budgets and business plans, provide monthly Fleet KPI metrics for executive review, analyze and communicate all trends in P&L areas of responsibility.


Partner with VP of Ops in streamlining processes, procedures and facilitate scalability both to local markets and other US geographies.


Create vehicles specs for each business unit and execute turnkey vehicle acquisitions to include upfitting (racking, wrapping, toll pass, fuel card, safety equipment etc.) Just-in-Time to support LTP growth projections and asset retirements through decommissioning and re-marketing.


Manage 3rd party strategic relationships with vendors and negotiate with dealerships leveraging LTP buying power across vehicle and equipment lifecycles.


Manage title, inspection, emissions and registration processes to include documentation retention in multi-state geography.


Maintain and analyze GPS data, alerts, reports and communicate with stakeholders as needed all non-compliance.


Oversee fuel card, maintenance, toll management and roadside assistance programs for vehicles across all business units.


Manage regulatory FMCSA / DOT Preventative Maintenance program and recordkeeping compliance while minimizing downtime to support operations priorities.


Provide expertise in due diligence process and Day 1 activities of asset transfers for acquisitions


Ensure rapid turn-around of maintenance/detailing of vehicles from turn-in to re-issuance.


Create/Update Fleet Policy & Safety program and manage capital asset insurance policy claims process.


Identify and execute fleet optimization opportunities while delivering consistency across business units and delivering premium cost reduction savings.



QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES



Ability to travel up to 40% to LTP affiliates and other markets as necessary



Excellent organizational and computer software skills (MS Office, GPS, ERP etc)



Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; communication skills (oral and written), project management and process improvement.



Customer focused with high sense of urgency, attention to detail and result driven approach



Demonstrate high levels of collaboration cross-functionally



Sound business acumen & analytical Skills: review, interpret, draw conclusions and formulate actions based on KPI's and other data.



Ability to solve complex business problems, develop business plans and manage internal resources.



Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.



EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:



3-5 years working for a service company in similar role


5-10 years of successful transport management experience


Bachelor's degree highly preferred
