This Senior Business Analyst Consultant will perform the role of Product Owner on an Agile scrum team on the work routing tool team for Optum. The Product Owner owns, maintains and prioritizes the Product backlog for the scrum team. They share the product vision and work closely with the Scrum Master and Delivery Manager to ensure the team delivers value to the business. They will have accountability for delivery of product features and capabilities for the work routing tool, maximizing new technologies, and developing transformative capabilities for our internal teams and external constituents.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote and drive Agile development methodology throughout the team/s, providing direction and support to development and quality assurance teams
- Define, prioritize, and drive realization of specific product vision
- Accountable to represent business partners crossing functional areas to transform vision into requirements. Align and deliver objectives. Escalate blocking items to Application Owner when applicable
- Accountable for aligning business teams through development of communications, socialization, and education of objectives and detailed requirements guiding team members to accomplish objectives
- Serve as the 'voice of the customer’ with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout the product realization cycle
- Manage developing requirements and prioritization of backlog, continuously and transparently communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and status
- Reviews, accepts, and prioritizes Aha Ideas and new requirements from project stakeholders
- Create, manage, and refine product Features and User Stories in CA Agile/Rally
- Run weekly intake, post intake, refinement sessions with stakeholders and Core team
- Work with Scrum Masters to help direct, motivate, and guide the delivery teams
- Ensure that Scrum Team deliverables meet agreed-upon standards for quality and non-functional requirements, and that the products meet the stated business need
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans
- Own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including definition of user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Break down high-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team
- Collaborate with business partners in usability testing and the development of the user design
- Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of defects, including providing key input on the decisions to fix or defer
- Review output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria has been completed

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Product Management (or related positions) in the Health Care Industry
- 5+ years of experience in managing/delivering technology products
- 2+ years with Agile practices and principles
- 2+ years acting as a Product Owner for scrum teams: Writing features and user stories and following the development process through user story acceptance
- Experience directing a team and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of the product backlog and ensure understanding of the items it contains
Preferred Qualifcations:
- Product Owner Certification
- Passion for customers and a demonstrated focus on customer experience
- Project Management experience
- Energy, self-motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams
- Ability to exhibit diplomacy with solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
