Job Description

a2b Fulfillment is a fast-growing, third-party provider of distribution support services, including e-Commerce Fulfillment, Retail Distribution, Value Added Services and Call Center Solutions. We are currently hiring for the position of Fulfillment Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fulfillment Manager reports to the Operations Manager. This role is responsible for all Order Fulfillment activities, which include Picking, Packing, Finishing/Special Packaging, QC, Replenishment and operation of the Automated Conveyor Line and Shipping Sorter.

The two primary categories of this position are:

1. Managing a demanding workload with changing priorities to achieve same-day order turnaround.

2. Managing a large team of associates to ensure compliance with engineered workflows, achieve or exceed productivity standards and adherence to quality goals and expectations.

The Fulfillment Manager must be a highly organized individual that respects process and structure and also have superior people management skills that include a balance of motivation, training and encouragement with the confidence and skillset to demand performance and hold people accountable.

Responsibilities include:

Workload Management

  • Analysis of ever-changing workload and priorities to ensure that all orders are shipped same day by the cutoff time.
  • Determination of resource requirements in order to achieve.
  • Scheduling of resources.
  • Overtime reduction/prevention.

Process Management

  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with pre-engineered workflows and SOP’s.
  • Collaboration with all departments to create and enhance workflows and SOP’s to improve efficiency.
  • Precise execution of all processes, ensuring quality and accurate inventory transactions.
  • Adherence to engineered Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including same-day turnaround of orders by the cut-off time.
  • Prevent product damage and shrinkage, accidents, and occupational hazards.

Associate Management

  • Ensure that safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Manage Associate Output and Productivity
  • Ensure proficiency within the department to support financial and operational needs/goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or greater, plus 5+ years relative experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task while prioritizing assignments and managing time in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and problem solve.
  • Ability to follow instructions and understand process flows.

Schedule: Mon-Fri with start time between 730-830am. Facility is open Mon-Sat 7am-530pm, so flexibility is needed on occasional and department hours/days could change based on needs of the business.

Compensation

The compensation plan will include a competitive base salary, bonus program, paid time off and access to health insurance and 401K.
