Our facility in Littleton, CO seeks a mid-career level Manufacturing Resource Planner/Production Controller to provide planning, preparation, and execution support for Tranche 1 Transport Layer Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) production of high volume smallsats. In this role, you will perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning, shop floor control, and logistics. Summary of Key Duties: You will... • Perform upfront coordination with Engineering, Planning, and Program Management organizations to optimize Tranche 1 program con ops for high volume production of satellites • Plan, execute, and maintain demand integrity for assigned material components and subassemblies in ERP to drive accurate material acquisition and ensure production schedules are met • Schedule and release material requests to inventory stores for all materials, including shop floor consumables, and prepare, audit, and release material kits to integration area • Demonstrate a clear understanding of work in process and be able to effectively provide timely status of work products and/or problem identification and resolution as part of shop floor control efforts • Perform look ahead analysis to proactively manage and communicate potential upcoming conflicts and obstacles in order to minimize any impact to hardware delivery • Interface with Manufacturing, Test, Engineering, Quality, Receiving Inspection, Procurement, and Inventory Management personnel as well as with other vital stakeholders to ensure product support requirements are met • Present overall material and end item status to management and customers and engage with ATLO leadership to ensure strategic goals and initiatives are progressing to plan • Identify process improvements that will help reduce production cost and improve schedule performance Our employees working in this level of position typically have 9 - 15 years of experience. To be successful, you will need to possess each of these basic qualifications: • Professional experience in one or multiple of the following areas: Production Planning & Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing/Production Operations, Procurement, Logistics, or General Management. • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) theory and practices. • Extensive experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as SAP • Shop floor control experience • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Must possess an active DOD Secret clearance and be able to obtain a final TS/SCI clearance to support this government contract, thus U.S. citizenship is required
