HPC Server Admin
Job Description
An International company, located in Saline, MI is seeking an HPC (High Performance Computing) Server Administrator for a 12+ month contract role. This role will work onsite 1-2 times a week and the reminder remotely.
The ideal candidate will have STAR-CCM exposure.
Job Description:
Linux cluster admin skills in NFS/NIS environment, as well as modern authentication
Understanding of MPP and SMP application concepts
Understanding and experience provisioning low-latency networks (e.g. Infiniband)
Job schedulers, preferably LSF
Experience installing, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrading Automotive HPC solvers, such as:
LS-Dyna
Abaqus
Star-CCM
Nastran
Fluent
PowerFlow
Experience installing and connecting pre- and post-processors in Windows/CIFS environment to HPC server environment
Software licensing (Floating and Nodelock)
Excellent Written and verbal communication
