Job Summary
This position serves as an Administrative Assistant to a High-Level Diplomat (HLD) working within the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.

Job Summary
This position serves as an Administrative Assistant to a High-Level Diplomat (HLD) working within the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.
General Responsibilities
- Keeps weekly commentaries for HLD organized and moving forward to meet deadlines. Ensures the right people in the workflow have articles on time.
- Prepares briefings for events that the HLD will be attending, including the purpose, run of show, names of organizer and other dignitaries in attendance.
- Fields media inquires.
- Handles all calls with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Finds and prints online articles from news sources as as needed.
- Organizes and maintains files. Monitors HLD's E-mail and mail.
- Schedules appointments, phone calls, ZOOM calls, and/or other virtual conference calls.
- Escorts HLD to a class, recording session or speech as needed, insuring they are prepared with all necessary materials.
- Prepares and formats remarks and speeches that have already been written.
- Coordinates workflow with interns.
- Orders office supplies. Coordinates office IT needs with appropriate IT department.

- Bachelor's degree

- 3 years of General Office experience
- Expereice as an Administrative Assistant

- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism

- Highly thorough and dependable
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
