Data Scientist

This is an entry-level position supporting the chemistry, hardware engineering, and research teams in their efforts to analyze data and derive insights related to the DNA encoding and decoding processes, including quality control, image processing, and quality control.

Requirements:

• Experience in programming with Python, including usage of standard data science libraries: pandas, scipy, numpy, matplotlib
• Knowledge of how to use python in all its aspects: scripts, notebooks, classes, and packages
• Hands on experience with machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and deep learning is a plus
• BS/BA in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is a must; advanced degree or other specialization in statistics, modeling or data science is preferred
• Good communications skills
• Experience working collaboratively on software projects using Git is a plus
