Order Entry
Job Description
Role: As a member of the Order Entry team in the Lynden Head Office, this role will meet our customers' needs through accurate, detailed and thorough order entry. The role will also meet the needs of our Production team through accuracy and scheduling awareness. As a part of the overall Sales team at Lynden Door, this role will help to build valuable and lasting relationships with our customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, detailed & thorough order entry
- Cooperatively interact with purchasing and production departments to evaluate costs and procedures required to successfully fulfill order requirement.
- Ability and willingness to learn the basics of door construction, fire rating, warranty, and customer blocking requirements
- Enter customer orders with appropriate and accurate pricing
- Verify component availability and split orders as necessary
- Understand and maintain customer specification and requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers on questions and / or concerns
- Work closely with production, scheduling, and transportation to ensure accurate ship dates for orders
- Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Track order status
- Maintain organization of documents and order information
- Execute systems, paperwork information flow
- Professionally and courteously answer incoming phone calls
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Above average Typing and 10-key skills
- Business Acumen, keen knowledge of door manufacturing and components
