Net Application Developer (637464)

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Net Application Developer for an exciting opportunity located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Full stack development of web solutions
• Experience using: .NET, C#, JavaScript, MVC, HTML, CSS
• Entity Framework using an Oracle database
• Configuration Management using Microsoft (TFS) Team Foundation Server
• Provide support in Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review
• Familiar with: Front end graphical user interface design, Software testing, quality assurance, performance tuning, improvement, and balancing

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day

Desired KSA

• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Microsoft SQL Server database
• Familiar with Agile software development process
• Familiar with VM-ware Horizon Client
• Familiar with STIG implementation - Security Technical Implementation Guide(STIG)
• Telerik development tools
• Full lifecycle application development
• Writing software documentation
• Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages
• Display the ability and creativity to analyze problems and to design and implement advanced software solutions
• Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
• Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
• Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

• MA/MS & 10 years of experience OR a BA/BS & 12 years of experience is preferred

Minimum Clearance

• Secret

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to use a computer
