Line Cook
Job Description
Lakewood Brewing Company is looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join our team. We are just about to launch our first kitchen, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Line Cook to join the team.
The line cook will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure a fabulous guest experience by ensuring all food meets or exceeds our guests’ expectations. The ideal candidate will embody an attitude and passion for continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and consistency of all food preparation, while being mindful of speed and presentation
- Plate quickly and accurately
- Move swiftly from one dish to the next
- Ensure the final plate matches what the guest ordered
- Experience with vegetable and sauce preparation
- Knowledge of food safety, including storing food properly, paying attention to guests’ allergies, and always washing your hands
- Daily commitment to time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
Special Skills and Certifications
- 1 year line cook experience
- Garland Food Manager Certified
- Positive attitude
- Self-Motivated

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lb. kegs of beer. Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend repeatedly throughout shift.
