Senior Manager, International Accounting
Responsibilities
- Oversee the international accounting team across Europe, LATAM and APAC, and review the general ledger accounting activities in NetSuite
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual close activities of all international entities, including variance/trend analysis of balance sheet and income statement
- Prepare relevant sections of monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial reporting package in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage local and statutory compliance of all international entities, including but not limited to maintaining books under local accounting standards, preparing annual statutory reporting, completing VAT filings and facilitating statutory audits
- Support the US GAAP quarterly and annual audits
- Direct accounting integration efforts for all potential international acquisitions
- Drive and implement process improvements, including SOX compliance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification
- 10+ years public accounting and multinational industry experience mix (minimum 3 years public accounting) with publicly traded companies
- Enjoy building accounting processes and leading projects in anticipation of an IPO or as part of growth steps
- Experience with NetSuite and Blackline preferred
- Manage team across various time zones in a fast-paced environment
- Multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative worker / team player
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficient in researching accounting and financial reporting topics
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Public company experience and SEC reporting principles and regulations preferred
