Regional Sales Executive

HSS is a 50-year-old company that has its roots grounded in healthcare security. We started as a manned security company in the 60s and as security needs changed throughout the years, HSS has led the revolution of change within the Healthcare space. In 2020 we launched Spotlight, an End Point Cyber Security offering within the healthcare space for IoMT. This is a rapidly growing division and ever-growing need within healthcare. There is not a hospital in the US or worldwide that is not researching and trying to solve for this concern. HSS and Spotlight are again leading the revolution. Looking for a highly motivated experienced sales professionals in the healthcare and cyber security space to continue this rapid growth.


Under general supervision this position is responsible for selling Spotlight and MEM Services. Plans and carries out direct sales for assigned region.




  • Ideal Candidate Qualifications

    • Manages sales cycle from conception to closure.
    • Recommends cyber security services and product enhancements.
    • Sells a managed service within a SaaS environment.
    • Implements new sales techniques to increase the sales results.
    • Meet sales quotas and tracks performance.
    • Develops marketing strategies as needed.
    • Develops and implements targeted sales.
    • Contacts current and new customers.
    • Generates market interest.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Preferred:

    • Healthcare sales experience.

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:


    Knowledge of:

    • Healthcare regulations pertaining to equipment, industry standards, procedures and End Point Cyber Security.
    • Sales processes.
    • Healthcare industry.
    • CIO and CISO buying patterns in healthcare environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.
    • CRM systems – preferably NetSuite.
    • Computing platforms to include: Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite and an ability to learn and manage new software and data management systems with minimal supervision.

    Skill in:

    • Consistent track record of achieving/exceeding personal sales goals.
    • Outstanding both verbal and written communications.
    • Effectively develop, manage and forecast multi-account sales funnel and pipeline.
    • Represent HSS's full line of products and services to both prospects and existing clients in the healthcare space.
    • Owns the entire sales cycle from generation to closure.
    • Uses a consultative sales approach, generates and follows up on sales leads through "warm" and "cold" target lists and databases.
    • Contributes to marketing and sales efforts, cultivating new business and attends regional and national tradeshows.
    • Maintains direct customer contact through meetings, phone calls and emails to foster excellent customer relations.
    • Prepares customer presentations and sales proposals.
    • Provides competitive information to management.
    • Resolves customer issues utilizing internal resources when necessary.
    • Advanced organizational skills.
    • Excellent presentation skills professional presence and business acumen.

    Abilities to:

    • Stay abreast of changes in medical equipment technology, attends training as needed or requested.
    • Attend committee, department, and corporate meetings.
    • Create reports as needed.
    • Complete all other duties as assigned.
    • Up to 25% travel after COVID restrictions are lifted.
    • Make complex decisions within a short amount of time.
    • Perform with a high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Interact with people at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
    • Learn new offerings and sell to existing and potential customers.
