Senior Semiconductor Equipment Technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a small but growing Semiconductor company in the Tempe, AZ area is seeking a few Senior Semiconductor Maintenance Technician with experience on toolsets, perform scheduled PM as well as ability to troubleshoot unexpected failures. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. Client has both day and night shifts. Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair all hardware and process failures for various tool sets
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents
  • Use SPC charts and software to evaluate tool performance
  • Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
  • As a Senior Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will maintain spare parts inventory and various other activities related to the success of the area
  • Assist Equipment Engineers with equipment upgrades, improvements, and long down troubleshooting
  • Work with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post maintenance qualification tasks
  • The Senior Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician will coordinate equipment down time with Manufacturing Leads

REQUIREMENTS:

  • AS degree in Engineering
  • 3-5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge/experience with various semiconductor tools and equipment
  • Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask with minimal supervision while adjusting to changing priorities
  • Analytical problem solving and testing skills
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple equipment downs and shifting priorities
  • Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds
Desired work experience in one or more of the following:
  • AMAT Etchers: DPS, ASP, Emax, IPS chambers
  • AMAT Thin Films PVD Endura
  • AMAT Thin Films CVD Producer
  • SEZ Wet clean
  • Supporting equipment such as pumps, chillers, heat exchangers
  • 200 mm experience preferred
