Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer of the Core Audio software team, you will be responsible for developing effective manual and automation test plans, as well as performing across our Out-Loud consumer audio product line. Collaborate with industry leading authorities in different engineering fields such as software, hardware, electrical, signal processing, and user experience, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
What you'll do:
• Work to develop and implement routine, smart and focused, manual tests
based on identified feature sets to a scheduled plan.
• Maintain automation and Continuous Integration Infrastructure
• Engage with our Partners (3rd parties) regarding manual test operational aspects such as test creation, test execution, team meetings, strategic collaboration, etc.
• Write and implement manual test plans and related test cases.
• Verify features and improvements using white and black box methodologies
• Investigate and analyze root causes of technical issues and performance bottlenecks to provide sufficient data to engineering to help pin point problem areas in the system.
• Work in a continuous improvement environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related equivalent degree, plus 1-3 years of experience in SQA
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with Python and Shell
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, BLE, and WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n).
• Experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing.
• Experience working with embedded Linux systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, Testrail, Jira, Confluence, github.
