The Consumer Sales Channel Supervisor/Associate oversees a vendor partner sales team and is accountable for driving performance to increase team efficacy and productivity while ensuring a differentiating consumer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Become a consumer champion and Surest product expert
- Monitor, track and direct the consumer sales team
- Collaborate with vendor partner on employee selection profile and training assets/materials
- Work with vendor partner and other Surest teams to promote positive customer experience and promote cross enterprise best practices
- Advocate for the CST regarding the development of tools and resources to make sure they have the information necessary to deliver a positive pre-member experience
- Recommend resources for the CST when gaps are identified
- Provide coaching/development/communication with vendor partner
- Ensuring team meets their performance metric targets
- Work with vendor partner to review reporting metrics and frequency of reporting
- Coordinate with vendor partner to develop QA scorecards for each communication method utilized
- Review/revise scorecards bi-annually to make sure they are aligned with Surest expectations
- Report team performance goals and results
- Surface to Marketing management opportunities and/or issues
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement and sales conversion
- Suggest and implement improvements to increase sales success rates
- Liaise with Member Experience and Product Development to ensure brand consistency and sales efficiency
- Partner with vendor partner and other internal teams to deploy improvements
- Explore opportunities to use Consumer Sales Team to provide enterprise direct to consumer sales expertise
- Respond and monitor, as appropriate, to channels vendor partner uses for escalations or questions (Slack/Email/Phone)
- Provide support to vendor partner when needed with edge cases
- Provide additional support to other consumer marketing activities as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of sales experience; call center experience; insurance experience
- 1+ years of experience in team interactions and improvement methods (i.e., Coaching, Quality, Productivity)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good knowledge of call center processes and procedures
- Demonstrates the ability to teach and coach to improve sales performance
- Ability to work well under pressure and in ambiguous situations
- Ability to manage workload wisely by putting effort and time where it is needed most
- Bilingual: Spanish-English

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $45,100 to $80,200. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $49,800 to $88,200. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
