Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals and expectations through a team of Sales Directors
- Ability to analyze overall market to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discounts
- Direct new channel development activity and coordinate growth by establishing regional sales territories, quotas, and goals
- Manage staffing, training, and performance to develop and control the sales program
- Work directly with corporate marketing and vendors to accomplish sales goals
Core Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or five years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Ability to manage activities and performance of sales team in order to achieve corporate goals while fostering quality customer and vendor relationships and growth
- Excellent working knowledge of contact management systems, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Construction industry knowledge preferred
