Servers and Hosts needed at Daily Grill

We are looking for experienced, energetic, and hospitality focused team members to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
Server:
- Providing hospitality focused service, with an emphasis on guests have a great experience
- Problem solving and following the “LAST” (listen, apologize, solve, thank) mind set to handle guest concerns
- Following all health and safety protocols, and being “health department ready” at all times
- Completing sidework and running side work throughout the shift to set the team up for success
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with fellow team members, with a heavy teamwork focus.
- Enhance the guest experience by providing elevated service including a menu tour, upselling beverages, appetizers, and dessert
- Practice proper table maintenance and work with a sense of urgency
- Gain a strong knowledge of our food and beverage offerings
Host:
- Greeting guests in a friendly/energized manner immediately upon their entering the restaurant
- Serve as an ambassador of the restaurant, being the first person the guest interacts with
- Managing the flow of the restaurant by planning where reservations will go, managing wait time and wait list, and assessing server skill levels to properly seat guests.
- Positively and kindly communicating possible wait times to guests and properly managing their expectations when/if there is a wait
- Ensure we are fully prepared for the shift with enough clean menus
- Problem solving and following the “LAST” (listen, apologize, solve, thank) mind set to handle guest concerns
- Maintaining a clean front entrance area including cleaning the host stand, wiping the front doors, and performing restroom checks and stocking
- Memorize food and beverage offerings, and execute take-out orders when needed
Job Requirements:
- Must have an open availability including weekends and holidays
- Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience
- Positive and Professional Attitude
- Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must present a Food Handlers card within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist for 4-12 hours/day
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
