Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions, formerly known as Beecher Carlson is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Revenue Manager to join the team in Atlanta, GA.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Revenue Manager will support producers and production teams as the primary lead for forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and reporting associated with both production and compensation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day Revenue and Compensation functions in relation to tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
- Calculate and monitor compensation accruals quarterly and work with Controller to ensure everything is properly accounted for in balance sheet
- Manage Data & Process Improvements
- Responsible for accurate reporting of Revenues for month end and tracking to financials/Forecast including intercompany forecasting and tracking
- Reconciliation of Reporting to Production/AMS System
- Ensure proper documentation of Revenue process and compensation tracking
- Liaise with Billing Lead and team on revenue billing matters for month end and forecasting processes
- Responsible for Corporate reporting around revenues and production reporting and related commentary and analysis
- Support Producers through monthly revenue and T&E reporting
- ROI reporting on investments
- Keep up with key revenue tracking reports, new wins, lost business, transfers, and non-recurring and retention rates
- Ensure consistent calculations and reporting of all key metrics
- Identify and implement ways to improve forecast/budget accuracy and timeliness using automation, process, and tools
- Prepare forecast summaries and presentations for executive leadership
- Identify key criteria for variance analysis, highlight trends, and recommend actions
- Provide recommendations by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years experience in related position with similar duties
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with Microsoft Office products with heavy emphasis in Excel, preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and working with multiple accounting systems
- Minimal travel may be required
