Kantar Consulting’s XTEL Trade Optimization software is a powerful, end-to-end solution supporting the trade promotion lifecycle, from planning through retail execution, sales intelligence, and distributor management for the global consumer goods industry.

Are you looking for the next challenge? As a SaaS FMCG (BI) Business Intelligence Consultant you'll join our fast-paced Global Services team and play a key role in working on a variety of high profile IT projects to implement our XTEL software solutions for Business Processes Management, BI Stream.

He/She will be in charge of assuring Business Intelligence technical consistency to the solution configuration and customization, as well as being the point of reference for the client and the project team on Data Quality side.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

  • 4+ years experience in Business Intelligence
  • Experience in specific FMCG sales processes (trade promotions, sales agreement, sales force automation, incentives management, retail execution) will be a valuable plus.
  • The role requires high flexibility in logistics and availability to video-conference with a geo-dispersed team.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Elicit and formalize customer requirements and drive analysis through workshops
  • Formalize Functional Specifications and estimates for specific developments
  • Participate in drawing up of the Functional Blueprint and produce the Solution Configuration Documentation
  • Engage the customer on User Acceptance Strategy, Planning and Execution
  • Responsible for the complete documentation and collaterals for AMS handover
  • Deep understanding of software applications architecture and infrastructure;
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and RDBMS architecture;
  • Experience with ETL and data integration as well as DWH data modelling;
  • Experience with advance reporting and dashboard design, system testing and support to the user acceptance test (UAT)
  • Deep knowledge of BI best of breed tools (Microsoft BI stack in particular);
  • Expertise in technical training
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
  • English – Fluent
  • Any other Language knowledge a clear PLUS

The salary range for this role in Connecticut is $ 89,200.00 - 118,950.00 - 148,700.00 USD. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
