Title: QA Analyst - Level II

We are looking for a QA Analyst to help support a UX Design and Planning team. Responsibilities will include the following:

We are looking for a QA Analyst to help support a UX Design and Planning team. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead and plan testing phases
- Lead defect triage meeting
- Document defects
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders
- Provide oversight for testing related tasks
- Create daily QA status reports
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect count, test results, and test status
- Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrate them into business processes to address the business needs
- Document all problems and assist in their resolution
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or field or equivalent work experience
- Broad knowledge of QA practices, policies, and methodologies
- Broad knowledge in creating and maintaining Quality Assurance documentation (Test plan, test cases/scripts, defect reports/analysis, etc.)
- Strong ability in using QA functional and performance testing tools to create, maintain, and execute test scripts
- Understand software development life cycle
- Software development and design background strongly desired
- Familiarity with SQL Server database
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Skilled in taking personal ownership and responsibility for all deliverables
- Be quality-focused, and supportive of end users
- Strong ability to perform the following:
- Multi-task and perform testing on multiple simultaneous projects
- Self-direct with a high degree of initiative, ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Document and concisely communicate problems to developers
- Release and build engineering
- Broad knowledge of the following:
- Technical writing / technical reporting
- Automated testing
- Technical and programming skills
- In-depth knowledge of the following:
- QA practices, policies and methodologies
- Creating and maintaining Quality Assurance documentation (Test plan, test cases/scripts, defect reports/analysis, etc.)
- Using QA functional and performance testing tools to create, maintain, and execute test scripts
- SQL using Oracle and/or SQL Server
