Business Technology - Program Administrator

Job Description

Work schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00AM 5.00PM

Learning Management Systems and Training:
  • Reporting to the Manager, Training, this role is responsible for planning, designing, developing, implementing, facilitating, and continuously improving Client training initiatives.
  • Creates and delivers innovative education solutions using sound instructional design and methodologies, current technologies, and effective project management to meet organizational goals.
  • Supports the entire Client Quality Management System.
  • The incumbent will ensure that the training program is fit for purpose: standards of training, methods of delivery, competence assessment and recording keep pace with industry practices and comply with the company Quality Manual and applicable procedures.

Global Training:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the Induction New Hire Training program is globally aligned, appropriate for the intended audience, and facilitated to support business needs;
  • Ensure that Site and Global Core Curricula are assigned appropriately;
  • Provide guidance on curricula design and mapping of training and learning journeys;
  • Collaborate with Learning Management System (LMS) Administrators to perform training administration;
  • Facilitate GxP and non-GxP training programs and learning initiatives across the enterprise as needed;
  • Support, collaborate, and engage with all departments and functions to deliver successful program outcomes and to ensure alignment of training content and practices;
  • Ensure that Training Program documents reflect regulatory requirements and business need;
  • Support the continuous improvement of Training Program processes and projects by implementing mechanisms to measure training effectiveness and monitoring customer satisfaction;
  • Identify and support new and existing training programs as needed.
  • Ensure training materials/documents are maintained and modified regularly; maintains in the validated management systems to ensure data integrity,

Global Instructional Design:
  • Instructional Design, course development and delivery as well as stakeholder education/training:
  • Write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts;
  • Know how to connect with the audience;
  • Brainstorm create and innovative instructional design strategies.
  • Define project schedules and manage priorities with the Global Manager, Training;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and interpret key messages and concepts to ensuring these are communicated clearly and concisely;
  • Upload learning materials and resources to the LMS and other platforms as needed;

Innovate:
  • Develop, lead, and implement strategies and initiatives that optimize system and business processes;
  • Develop and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Global Business, driving to optimize access, successful and effective outcomes, promoting continuous improvement and enabling strategic decision making;
  • Research, analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Identify ways to foster collaborative learning environments and grow the organizations culture of learning.

Support Quality Systems:
  • Owns business and system related Deviations (DRs), Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPAs), and Change Controls (CCs).
  • Ensures compliance to quality processes, regulatory requirements, SOPs and necessary training for the training team and business operations
  • Support strategic resolution to quality issues identified during regulatory or internal inspections.
  • Partners with management to have the business inspection ready at all times by managing compliance to SOPs and the quality system
  • Participate in inspections to understand root causes behind quality issues.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise in preparation and execution of internal and external inspections.
  • Support strategic resolution to quality issues identified during regulatory or internal inspections.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
  • General GxP knowledge
  • General knowledge of regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or vaccine industry required.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design
  • Demonstrated experience in use of eLearning authorization tools preferably Articulate
  • Demonstrated experience in training facilitation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational capability with effective time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills across the business

Educations
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Higher education qualification in a science or adult education related field

Experience:
  • Experience in developing interactive and engaging training material and packages for classroom, virtual and on the job training
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Proven experience in content design for classroom, virtual learning, on the job practical and assessments.
  • Experience using e-learn authoring tools, preferably Articulate.
  • Experience in training facilitation in different modes of training delivery
  • Demonstration of leadership/management; promotes a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and innovative thinking
