Job Description
Position Summary
The Portfolio Pricing Manager is responsible for the new lease rent as well renewal lease rent pricing strategy for their assigned Portfolio. The Portfolio Pricing team are experts with Lease Rent Options (LRO) as it is used for the analysis and management of daily pricing. This role is responsible for reporting results regarding revenue performance to the Vice Presidents of Revenue Management and SVP of Operations. The Portfolio Pricing Manager will also be an active user/supporter of Business Intelligence and Performance Analytics.
Essential Job Functions
Implement revenue pricing strategy to maximize revenue and asset value thru the use of available tools and best practices. Host weekly pricing calls to cover new and renewal pricing. Manage pricing system parameters to achieve asset specific strategies. Develop pricing workbooks and Implement pricing software for new acquisitions and developments. (45%)
Travel to markets to perform competitive set review and amenity analysis. While in market, conduct learning sessions with site associates to support revenue management focus on sales and value creation thru process and structure. On-board new assets and associates into the Brookfield portfolio. (30%)
Build strong professional relationships within the organization that focus on collaboration, accountability, and equality to serve the business's objectives. Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis to forecast revenue targets and work directly with Marketing team to make recommendations of marketing spend for your portfolio. Partner with our technology and property management software support functions to align process and systems to maintain best practices for Revenue Management's various integrations. (15%)
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations in markets as well as industry trends. Craft, interpret, and communicate reporting to stakeholders throughout the organization. (10%)
Education
This position requires a(n) Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Real Estate Marketing, General Business Management, Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
Additional degree(s) that are preferred for this position include:
Advanced (Master) Degree
Work Experience
Below is the required/preferred work experience for this position:
5-7 Years Progressive responsibility and experience in property management - Required
5-7 Years Held the role of Property Manager - Preferred
3-4 Years Accounting or Finance role where financial statement work was instrumental to the role - Preferred
Note: 10+ Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position
