Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will involve cross-functional communication and partnership across the organization as well as a proactive spirit and a philosophy of ownership accountability to complete his/her job successfully.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the entire Order to Cash process, from supporting order processing efforts to managing

invoices collections/payments.

• Knowledge of revenue recognition criteria by performing review of customer POs and contracts to ensure

billings are created in accordance with terms.

• Complete monthly account reconciliations (Cash, Prepaid, Fixed Assets) per assigned due date in an

organized and detailed manner.

• Support annual external audit function.

• Contribute to process improvement projects to drive operational efficiency.

• Asset with other special projects as needed, take on additional duties and ad-hoc activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years as Staff Accountant

• Good communication skills to work objectively with people in different functions within the organization

including Sales, Customer Success, and Business System team.

• Attention to detail, willingness to get into the weeds; strong organizational and time management skills in a

fast-paced environment.

• Software-as-a Service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience and basic knowledge of ASC 606 is desired.

• Public Accounting experience highly valued.
