This position is part of the Home & Community gross margin finance team within OptumHealth. The Home & Community gross margin finance team drives revenue and medical analytics processes as it relates to month-end, budgeting and forecasting, gross margin reporting, and problem-solving variances. This position will assist leaders across the growing businesses in understanding the various components of revenue, research revenue variances, and complete ad hoc requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget

  • Develop, perform and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures

  • Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability

  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 3 or more years of financial and/or accounting experience

  • Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment

  • Prior work experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and operational issues, assessing their implications and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan

  • Experience working collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to drive IOI enhancement

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient Hyperion Essbase

  • Proficient in SmartView

  • MBA or CPA

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
