Senior Securities Processing Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform high risk supervisory controls of key daily processes
• Working with the funding and credit relations groups, will analyze cash flow, use of cash capital and collateral, transfer of funds (intra-company and with outside parties), bank account usage, bank compensation, and flow-through of funds
• Monitor and verify controls for all cash and/or security movements and cash usage (includes accurate verification of high valued and sensitive payments before they are approved in the system)
• Monitor portfolios, trades and/or associated exposure to ensure the team is requesting a payment from internal and external counterparties in a timely manner
• Responsible for detailed analysis of payment related issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken
• Supports a wide range of internal clients (product, sales, client delivery, and technology) and external corporate clients
• Oversees the daily performance of the operational processes to satisfactory completion of the team’s daily key responsibilities
• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis to define problems that require escalation

Qualifications:

• Five plus years of experience in financial industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in performing verification and approval of payments
• Experience in implementing, monitoring and performing risk and control responsibilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
