Robert half has partnered with a manufacturer and marketer of solutions that provide protection for people, products and places. Our client is looking for a Project Manager who can is be responsible for leading multiple software teams using the tools and disciplines of agile project management. This person is responsible for overall project execution including scope definition, resource planning, coordinating the activities of various functional areas, budgeting, task planning, timeline setting and launch, project reporting, and gate presentations. The Project Manager will establish clear responsibilities for all team members and provide timely and effective communication to team members and stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and deliver software and firmware product releases on a consistent cadence Facilitate daily standup meetings Own overall project execution including support of the marketing department in the analysis of customer need (VOC), scope definition, resource planning, coordinating the activities of various functional areas, budgeting, product cost, risk assessment and mitigation plan, task planning, timeline setting, launch, project status reporting to stakeholders and gate presentations. Lead and drive project team to meet product requirements (performance, cost, and quality). Lead and implement Agile processes and continuous improvement activities to improve development efficiency and effectiveness. Support post launch/sustaining activities. Collaborate and influence across cross-functional product development engineering, quality, and marketing teams. Motivate team to achieve project goals. Communicate technical progress to the business team. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities A bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent field of study Minimum of 3 years experience within a New Product Development group Minimum of 3 years technical lead, Scrum master, or project management experience required Desired Characteristics: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience leading and interfacing with external resources and partners Experience with Agile / Scrum development process strongly desired Experience in procedures and process documentation within a Phase Gate system is a plus PMP / PgMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus. Certified SCRUM Master desired Experience leading an international team is desired An Microsoft in Engineering or Business Management
