POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
KKCS seeks an experienced construction project scheduler or planner for a full-time Project Controls Assistant (PCA) opportunity. The position in located in San Jose, CA and project site locations locally as required. The PCA will prepare and coordinate recurring reports and provide project support. The position is anticipated to start a soon as possible.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key tasks of the position include:
• Prepare/Coordinate reoccurring reports:
o Progress Reports
o Engagement Report
o 3 Week Look Ahead
o PMT Engagement Report
• Accounting Info
• Engagement Bullets
• Schedule Update
o Weekly Bullets
o 3 Year Look Ahead Schedule updates
Other potential tasks include:
• Inputs construction notices, social media, newsletters, meetings, day after reports, etc into Salesforce.
• Inputs cases (questions/comments) as requested into Salesforce.
• Tracks CEOP (including MMRP, BMP, and Land Use) or collects the information regarding the Environmental Commitment Record.
• Tracks Board schedule (regular updates, presentations, and joint workshops).
• Ensures graphics metadata and places used are up to date.
• Monitors overall team schedule.
• Makes documents Section 508 accessible.
• Prepare and tracks individual project schedules (stakeholder engagement, TOCs, construction noticing, etc.).
• Coordinates meeting logistics and provides setup assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required Experience
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in construction project scheduling or planning
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Education
• Bachelor’s degree
