Job Details

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include reconciling account balances, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

Essential Duties

• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for period-end and year-end close.
• Analysis of historical data and contractual documents.
• Supervising and support staff in resolving any financial-related problem.
• Working with accounting team on special assignments and projects as assigned.
• Assisting with external auditors
• Provide back up for other team members as necessary.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
• Support Director of Accounting as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of applicable general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
