Revere is seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Focus: Industrial Automation to be responsible for the implementation of software into the control’s environment, implementation of the software into the server farm that controls the plant floor and provides visualization across the entire plant spectrum. . The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the entire lifecycle of an automation system including including all aspects of the software stack inclusive of industry standard software used such as Microsoft, VMWare, ERP applications, FactoryTalk, Ignition, PTC, KepWare, as well as other Automation software packages used to assist in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Engage strategically with specialists and account managers to prospect and identify opportunities at end user customers
• Provide “proof of concept” projects to lead the customer through their modernization journey
• Work collaborative with the Technical Sales Consultants to deploy successful projects
• Collaborate and provide needed technical information to partners and subcontractors to build the proper solution for customers
• Assist in building bill of materials and quotes when required for projects
• Facilitate technical questions along with regular customer contact to retain business and attain new business

Qualifications

• A team-oriented individual who strives to serve the customer
• Must possess a four-year technical degree
• Must possess minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial automation market
• Have the ability and experience to troubleshoot an entire automation system
• Ability to coordinate and support customer needs through sales, manufacturer, and personal intervention
• Proficient with Windows based operation systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Rockwell Automation Software products, PLC/EOI/HMI, Automation Networks
• Self-Motivated Individual
• Understanding of industrial automation protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, and OPC
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
