Job Description

We are a Non-emergency Medical Transportation Service currently looking for reliable drivers to join our dynamic team!!

(Vehicles are provided)

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time

Pay: $11.25 per hour

Benefits:

  • Start Date: Immediately

  • 2 weeks of paid On-the-Job Training and Certification

  • No experience required.

  • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED

Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday (Required)

  • Saturday & Sunday On-Call (Preferred)

Supplemental Pay:

  • Tips

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

  • Must have a decent driving record.

  • Must have a good criminal background.

  • Must PASS initial drug screening. (We will schedule an appointment post interview.)

  • Must PASS Department of Transportation Physical Assessment. (We will schedule an appointment post interview.)

Full Job Description:

The DRIVER will have the following responsibilities:

  • Transports passengers via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair to designated sites as requested, including passengers with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors, and other equipment.

  • Assists passengers with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from/to wheelchairs or stretchers.

  • Assists staff with “lift assists” and repositioning of passengers when needed.

  • Greet and provide information and direction to passengers/visitors.

  • Practice safe working habits and take the appropriate precautions while driving.

  • Maintain contact with drivers and dispatch throughout the day and monitor any sudden route changes issues for timely arrival.

  • Manage daily routes modifications to accommodate the needs of our passengers.

  • Check the routes daily to have all necessary information required for pick-up/drop-off.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintains productivity and composure under pressure.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must communicate verbal, written skill in English.

  • Willing to work from Monday to Friday and Saturday (half shift), including holidays and Sundays if the job demands it

  • Able to read maps and/or GPS applications. (Preferred)

  • Experience with non-emergency medical transportation (Preferred)

  • Monday - Friday (Required)
